Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Registration Services
Obtaining an Ireland nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) is important if you wish to work as a Nurse or Midwife in Ireland. The NMBI is the organization that holds the legal responsibility to process applications that help nursing professionals join the Register of Nurses and Midwives. It is not legal to practice nursing or midwifery in Ireland if you are not on the Register.
What are the eligibility criteria?
If you are a nurse aspiring to work in Ireland, you should commence the process by registering with the NMBI. In order to do so, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Qualification : GNM / B.Sc. / Post B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Nursing
Work Experience : Minimum 1 year as a Registered Nurses in the last five years.
Eligibility:
IELTS – Overall: 7.0, 6.5 for any one module and 7.0 for other 3 modules
OET – Overall: B, C+ for any one module and B for other 3 modules
